Base pay range $65.00/hr - $75.00/hr Job Introduction Our client is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Consultant to support complex analytics initiatives and deliver insights through advanced data modeling and interactive reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving challenging data problems, shaping BI standards, and driving enterprise-wide reporting excellence. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to build scalable Power BI solutions and ensure data accuracy, security, and performance across the environment. Location 100% Remote (Must work PST hours) Compensation This job is expected to pay about $65–75/hr (W2 or C2C is acceptable) Visa Sponsorship No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models that support complex analytics and business needs. Translate business requirements into technical specifications by collaborating directly with analysts and stakeholders. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting views within SQL Server. Implement and maintain robust data security practices, including row-level and object-level security, ensuring compliance with data privacy standards. Document BI development standards, data models, and reporting processes while mentoring junior BI developers. Qualifications 5+ years of experience developing business intelligence solutions using Power BI, SQL, and relational databases. Expert‑level proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), semantic model design, and Power BI Desktop/Service. Strong SQL skills, including complex query development, performance tuning, and database object creation. Proven ability to gather business requirements, translate them into BI solutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Experience applying data security, governance practices, and compliance measures for sensitive or confidential data.
