Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – IMCU (Nights) We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). This role involves providing high‑quality care to patients with complex medical needs, including those with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, substance abuse issues, and encephalopathy. The nurse will be responsible for managing heparin drips and other critical interventions. Responsibilities Provide critical care to patients in the IMCU with a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:4. Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including heparin drips. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning. Schedule This is a night shift position with a 12‑hour schedule, working a 4‑day cycle. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting, preferably in IMCU or a similar environment. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
