Position As a Security Officer Patrol with Tablet in Allen, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, agile approach while assisting with day-to-day security-related needs across the property. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thu 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to help support daily operations and loss prevention efforts. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 1 year of armed experience in security-related roles, law enforcement, and/or military roles. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
