Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 02:30 PM - 07:15 PM Fri 02:30 PM - 07:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions or security‑related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor processing in accordance with site protocols and privacy‑minded workplace expectations. Support day‑to‑day operations by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity, while maintaining a professional presence in fast‑paced indoor and outdoor working environments. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
