Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Hospital Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and patient activity in accordance with site protocols and assigned post orders.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities accurately and report concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
