Opportunity Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Job Details 40 hours of scheduled work per week with continuous full-time coverage 6-month contract length Schedule varies between 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts Coverage includes 24-hour plus 16-hour shift per week Call requirements: 1 weekend call shift per month and 2 weeknight call shifts per month Must work Christmas holiday Schedule provided 6 weeks at a time Primarily work at Boise location with occasional coverage at nearby Nampa location Patient population includes adolescent, child, adult, and geriatric (90%+ over age 12) 17 main operating rooms, 7 day surgery center rooms, plus special procedures areas Supervision-based anesthesia with max 4:1 ratio Required procedures: gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, spine, cranial, plastics, lung procedures, healthy pediatrics, eye surgery, GI, structural hearts, EP, endoscopy, interventional radiology, MRI Must be comfortable with Level II trauma cases Perform spinal blocks but not regional anesthesia/blocks No burns, transplants, open heart, sick pediatrics, or OB procedures Board certification required Minimum 1 year experience required (will consider 6 months) DEA and CSR required EMR system: EPIC Facility This is a comprehensive 378-bed regional medical center that serves as a major healthcare hub in the region.
