CNC Machinist- Lathe/Turning (Set Up/Program)

**Shifts Available: **1st Shift: M – Th, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Friday 6AM- 1:30 PM

Wage: $28 - $35 per hour¨NBSP;

Location: Plymouth, MN

Type: Direct Hire position

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable CNC Lathe/Turning machinists to join the 1st shift team. This role is responsible for setting up new parts for production and running production of parts for aerospace/defense industries. Candidates should have prior CNC experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to use precision measurement tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up CNC Lathe/Turning machines according to work orders and setup instructions.
• Load tooling, fixtures, and materials; check alignment and offsets.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or CMM as required.
• Document production data and maintain accurate records.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area organized.
• Follow company safety policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years’ experience with CNC Lathe/Turning working with tight tolerance parts in aerospace/defense industries.
• HAAS/Hardinge/Miyano equipment is a plus
• Microscope and deburring experience are also a plus
• Strong blueprint reading and basic GD&T knowledge preferred.
• Skilled in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)
• CNC Lathe (5+ axis)
