CNC Lathe Machinist - 1st Shift

Schedule 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM and Friday 6AM-10:30AM About the Opportunity Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist Pay Rate Range: $52,000.00-$68,000.00/salary Position Type: Direct Hire Requirements and Qualifications 3-4 years of CNC Lathe Machinist experience required. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must be able to handle the full cycle: Programming, Setup, and Operation. Familiarity with Doosan and Kitamura machines is a major plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., though hoists are available and used frequently. Duties and Responsibilities Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments, such as micrometers or vernier calipers. Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers. Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations. Program computers or electronic instruments, such as numerically controlled machine tools. Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process. Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition. Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.
