Allied Technician - Respiratory Therapist

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

The Certified Respiratory Therapist is responsible for delivering essential cardiopulmonary services in compliance with established protocols and departmental policies. This role involves providing timely diagnostic and therapeutic treatments for both inpatients and outpatients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain and manage patient airways.
• Oversee ventilator management and intubations.
• Conduct blood gas analyses.

Qualifications

• Certified or registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, with demonstrated competencies in ICU, general floors, and emergency departments.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and pediatric care is beneficial but not essential.

This position requires availability for night shifts, typically from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week.
