Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Medical/Surgical License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg/telemetry/PCU - EPIC EMR/charting experience - At least 1 year of travel nursing experience - 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years - Experience with patient ratios of 1:4-6 Description: The RN will be assigned to a Medical/Surgical unit upon start. The RN will care for populations including Medicine, Surgery, Cardiac, and Client. The RN will be assigned to a vacancy that best fits their experience as applicable. Expected work schedule is 36 hours per week, consisting of three 12-hour shifts. Working every other weekend is required. The RN is expected to float to other equivalent units as needed. Patient ratios typically range from 1:5-6.
