About the Position

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical PM Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Med Surg/telemetry/PCU License: RN License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EPIC EMR/charting experience - Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience - 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years - Experience with patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:4-6 Description: A background of 2 years minimum in Medical-Surgical nursing is required. Experience must include telemetry and progressive care unit settings. Candidates should possess EPIC EMR/charting experience. A minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience is necessary. Additionally, 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years is required. Experience with patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:4-6 is preferred. The registered nurse will be assigned to the vacancy that best fits their experience. The patient population includes Medicine, Surgery, Cardiac, and Client. A standard commitment of 36 hours per week is expected, typically in 3 - 12 hour shifts. Candidates should be prepared to work every other weekend. The role may require floating to other equivalent units as needed. Typical patient-to-nurse ratios range from 1:5-6.
