About the role: This role is pretty simple to define; as an Pharmacy Collections Specialist, you are responsible for getting unpaid claims paid. This could simply be resubmission, attaining missing documentation or medical records, correcting the claim, or getting a letter of medical necessity. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate collections of pharmacy benefit claims. This will include all the major Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) companies for acute and chronic therapies to include IVIg, TPN’s and antibiotics.
