Job Title: Temporary Staff Accountant
Position Type: Full-time, Temporary (Contract through February 2027)
Schedule: 40 hours per week , Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote)

Reports To: Accounting Team Lead
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Temporary Staff Accountant to join our team to support a high-volume period through February 2027 . Working closely under the guidance of our Accounting Team Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining internal controls, and streamlining our year-end processes. Key Responsibilities

• Month-End & Year-End Close: Assist with journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement variance analysis to ensure a timely and accurate closing process.
• External Audit Support: Prepare schedules, gather documentation, and provide support for both interim and year-end external audit requests.
• Internal Control Systems (ICS): Assist with the testing, documentation, and narrative write-ups of internal control procedures to ensure compliance.
• Fixed Asset Management: Support the tracking, reconciliation, and physical inventory verification of fixed assets.
• Ad-Hoc Accounting Tasks: Provide operational support for other day-to-day accounting functions and special projects as assigned by the Team Lead.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of general corporate accounting experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and experience with mid-to-large ERP accounting systems.
• Audit Familiarity: Previous experience assisting with external audits or internal control (ICS/SOX) testing is a strong plus.
• Attributes: Strong organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
