Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation Services

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days - 8 hours, 8 hr days.

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to effectively screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care. The ideal candidate will develop appropriate plans of care, adhering to all regulatory and clinical practice standards, while utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Assess patients' progress and adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness, modifying services based on patient evaluations and making referrals as necessary.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other health team members about patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
• Document all required clinical information in electronic documentation systems and maintain patient records according to company policies.
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, rehabilitation meetings, and required trainings.
• Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students.
• Adhere to APTA and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics in professional practice as a Physical Therapist.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of Physical Therapy experience - Required
• New Grads are welcome, provided they have Level II experience and not just Level I observation experience
• Experience in Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation - Required
• Oklahoma State License - Required
