Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local authorities when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including sales floor areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior, access concerns, and/or potential loss issues, reporting findings according to site protocols. Support retail operations by assisting with closing procedures, monitoring after-hours activity, and/or providing a visible presence during busy periods, special events, or high-value deliveries. Minimum Requirements: Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
