WatercrestPosition Summary:As a Leasing Specialist, you have a genuine interest in building positive connections and have an exceedingly strong aptitude for sales and marketing. This role is for responsible for understanding, executing and achieving the leasing and renewal goals for their specific community. It is imperative that this position pays particular attention to the price, promotion, and presentation of the community. A successful Leasing Specialist is able to manage their time effectively, is detail oriented, a trustworthy team player, and takes pride in their work. In addition, this position needs to be accountable and attentive to provide excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents, associates and vendors.Primary Responsibilities:Walk marketing tour pan, open target viewing apartments, ensure clean and rent ready apartments, model homes and community amenitiesEffectively coordinate daily activities through the management of People, Product, Price and PromotionExercise discretion and independent judgment in the daily marketing and advertising functions of the community to enhance performanceManage effectiveness of mini model items, placement, and presentationManage the timely responses of resident and prospective resident calls and emails; Monitor and verify traffic in queue is responded to dailyRespond to resident and prospective resident calls and emails promptly in the morningAnswer incoming calls, convert phone calls into walk in traffic, set viewing appointments; Ensure all leasing traffic is recorded and input dailyTour prospective residents with energy and enthusiasm the Weidner wayEnsure successful leasing by facilitating the application process at the end of the tourMaintains strong competitive leasing closing ratioReview and process all applications immediately upon receiptTimely and respectful communication with applicants upon receiving resultsFollow Weidner Move In Experience with all approved applicantsMaintain and follow up on traffic in queueOversee completion of market analysis and shop competitive properties at least monthly; Implement marketing and leasing strategies dailyMeet with Community Director regularly to review leasing performance and goals, to improve leasing initiatives and strategyActively manage lease renewals in a timely manner and develop retention programEnsure market ready apartments, common areas and amenities are clean and maintained daily to Weidner’s quality standardsBenefits & PerksAt Weidner Apartment Homes, we value our team members and offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial well-being, and career growth.
