Your role, in short:

As an application developer, your main focus will be to contribute to the work surrounding the software ecosystem of our property management suite.

The candidate we are looking for must demonstrate above-average skills in api and backend component development, application development in an agile environment. With a proven higher level of engagement through action, the candidate must also have a very high level of autonomy and a very good ability to work in a team. You will be part of an experienced programming team in a state-of-the-art technological evolution.

Work is mainly done remotely, but occasional meetings at our offices are possible.

Your responsibilities, in more detail:

• Actively collaborate on the evolution and maintenance of the platform and its components.
• Collaborate on the development and maintenance of APIs and microservices
• Ensure the optimization and performance of the backend and databases.
• Participate in feasibility analyses and write the necessary specifications
• Deliver high-quality and documented code in compliance with company standards
• Participate in peer testing and code review
• Collaborate with the quality control team and contribute to unit, functional, and integrated testing

Your expertise and skills:

• College or higher education diploma in computer science
• Minimum 3 years of work experience
• Advanced knowledge of.Net 8+
• Advanced knowledge of Node JS
• Good knowledge of SQL Server & Postgre SQL
• Good knowledge of Entity Framework
• Knowledge of DevOps CI/CD pipeline

Pluses:

• Knowledge of React and React Native technologies
• Experience with the Azure & Google Cloud ecosystem
• Knowledge of Teraform and Docker
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
• Good ability to work with artificial intelligence tools
• Excellent learning capacity in an evolving technological environment
• Good command of French and English as the position holder will frequently communicate in both languages, orally and in writing. We have colleagues, clients, and partners in Quebec, as well as in the rest of Canada and the United States. (Advantage)

Your mandate will cover several software in our property management suite, notably on our new Nova web management platform but also on several related products. We value collaboration, expertise, team members' autonomy, and are open to new ideas to move things forward.

You will work, among others, in close collaboration with Martin, the R&D director, Pierre-Luc the team leader, Mathieu the solution architect, Hugo the product owner as well as the other members of the extended team, who are already looking forward to welcoming you to the team.
