divh2Night Auditor/h2pThe Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the nightly operations of the front desk, ensuring that all financial transactions and reports are accurately completed and prepared for the next days operations. The primary focus of this role is to reconcile the days financial activities, manage guest services during the overnight shift, manager on duty coverage and provide exceptional guest experiences./ppEssential functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions./ppPerform the duties of a front desk agent, including guest check-in/check-out, reservation handling, and responding to guest inquiries./ppReconcile all daily front desk agents work, ensuring accuracy in the daily accounting processes./ppRun the trial balance to post rooms and close the day, preparing and distributing next-day reports for the Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, and Executive Office as required./ppProvide exceptional guest service by greeting and welcoming guests, handling guest complaints promptly, and ensuring a positive guest experience./ppHandle financial transactions such as accepting payments, maintaining a house bank, and preparing accurate receipt reports./ppIssue and control access to safety deposit boxes, and post miscellaneous charges as requested./ppRespond to and resolve guest complaints efficiently and courteously./ppAnswer telephones promptly and handle reservations, check-ins, and check-outs with accuracy and efficiency./ppOperate or assist with any necessary transportation arrangements in a timely and courteous manner./ppAssist guests with luggage and be knowledgeable about local area attractions and hotel services./ppManage messages, wake-up calls, mail, and faxes properly, ensuring prompt and accurate service./ppAdhere to applicable company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and compliance./ppEffectively utilize the Property Management System and Electronic Key Equipment./ppMaintain a clean and orderly work area, respond promptly to FOM or MOD requests./ppMaintain open lines of communication with all departments, sharing pertinent information as needed./ppBe self-motivated and use time wisely, responding positively to new ideas and feedback./ppDemonstrate proper selling techniques during the reservation and walk-in process, actively seeking opportunities to upsell and increase revenue./ppComplete shift closing accurately, obtaining appropriate approval signatures and authorization codes./ppAssociates may be required to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs./ppFull compliance with company rules and regulations is required for the safe and effective operation of the hotel facilities. Violations may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination./ppQualifications: Education:/ppHigh school diploma or equivalent required./ppExperience: One to two years in an accounting or front office position preferred./ppStrong communication skills, both verbal and written./ppExtensive knowledge of the hotel, its services, and local area attractions./ppAbility to maintain professionalism and handle sensitive information confidentially./ppAbility to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours per day, with walking and standing required for the remainder of the shift./ppMust be able to lift up to 15 lbs on occasion and perform tasks that involve repetitive motions, bending, and climbing./p/div
