Overview
LaSalle Network is seeking a Senior Manager, Executive/VIP IT Support to lead day-to-day technology operations with our client located at  Chicago (Fulton Market) headquarters while delivering white?glove, hands-on support to the CEO, executive assistants, and senior leaders. This is a fully onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity with an anticipated 4–6 month contract period before conversion.

Schedule

• Work model: 100% onsite (no remote)

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (flex as needed around executive schedules)

• After-hours expectations: Not a formal on-call rotation, but responsiveness outside business hours may be required for executive needs and key events.

Why this role
This role provides immediate onsite leadership coverage at HQ and serves as the final escalation point for executive-support issues, office IT operations, confidential onboarding, and high-visibility meetings (board/investor/partner events).

What you’ll do
You’ll operate as both a people leader and a hands-on escalation technician in a high-visibility environment.

Leadership & operations (~60%)

• Lead onsite IT support operations at HQ; ensure daily readiness for executive and office needs

• Oversee ticket flow/queues and ensure proper documentation (including after-the-fact ticket creation when executives bypass process)

• Run daily health checks for rooms, printers, and critical office technology

• Prepare for high-profile meetings with detailed planning, test calls, and final pre-meeting validation

Executive/VIP support (~40%)

• Provide direct, white-glove support to CEO and senior leaders (Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, conferencing, endpoint issues)

• Serve as the calm, credible “last stop” escalation resource during time-sensitive incidents

• Partner with broader IT teams (security, networking, infrastructure) to resolve complex issues quickly

Team & reporting

• Reports to: Senior Director of IT Operations

• Onsite coverage includes:

  • Deskside engineer (imaging + end-user support)

  • AV engineer (meeting rooms + conferencing)

  • Existing onsite IT Support Manager currently out on long-term disability (this role may oversee them if/when they return)

Technical environment (high-level)

• Windows + macOS executive environment (roughly split)

• Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams)

• Intune (Windows endpoint management/imaging)

• Jamf (Apple device management)

• ServiceNow (including asset management practices)

• Conference room & executive conferencing ecosystem (Cisco/Logitech/Zoom and similar)

• Support for executive travel/access exceptions and sensitive/confidential onboarding

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience supporting C-suite / executive assistants in a high-pressure HQ environment

• Strong hands-on troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365/Teams/Outlook, AV & conferencing

• Demonstrated ability to lead a small onsite team while staying close to the technology (not a “delegation-only” manager)

• Strong executive presence: organized, proactive, calm, and able to manage urgent/high-visibility moments

Interview process

• Step 1: ~15-minute initial screen

• Step 2: 60-minute panel interview

• Step 3: Final leadership interview
