Physician - General Surgery - Per Diem

General Surgeon Opportunity

Cottage Hospital, located in the scenic White Mountains region of New Hampshire, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to join our dedicated and collaborative team.

You will practice in a shared solo model alongside one other General Surgeon, offering both independence and partnership. During your on week, you'll manage a balanced mix of clinic, OR block time, and call responsibilities.

The hospital provides a highly supportive environment, including a strong anesthesia team and collaborative Emergency Department physicians. Trauma demands are minimal, and most call-back occurs during daytime hours, allowing for a sustainable and manageable workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive general surgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform a variety of procedures, including endoscopy
• Manage ICU patients as needed
• Collaborate closely with anesthesia, ED providers, and hospital staff

Qualifications:

Required:

New Hampshire licensed or ability to obtain

Board certified or board eligible

Experienced physician preferred

Endoscopy are a must

Must have excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of nursing, providers and administration
