Job Description
As a Security Officer Field Patrol in New Albany IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location where you will conduct routine patrols stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents and support students staff and visitors with outstanding customer service and this unarmed role you will bring a caring reliable approach work as part of a team and reflect integrity while adapting to the needs of the location.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities across the location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report observations and activity according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings grounds walkways parking areas and perimeter locations noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and help to verify entry permissions for designated areas such as academic buildings residence areas and administrative spaces in alignment with location procedures.
- Support campus operations by assisting with directions escort requests event-related coverage and/or communication with appropriate personnel during routine and unusual situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
