Guest Services Representative

Hotel AKA NoMad, part of the AKA Hotels+Hotel Residences portfolio is recruiting a Guest Service Representative! The Guest Services Representative is our guests' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their stay in a friendly, service-oriented manner while maintaining privacy and confidentiality. Applicants with hotel experience and previous customer service experience are encouraged to apply. Team Member Responsibilities: Greets and registers guests, providing prompt and courteous service. Closes guest accounts upon completion of their stay. Resolves guest challenges throughout their stay in our property. Completes the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from the system, confirming pertinent information including number of guests and room rate. Codes electronic keys. Non-verbally confirms the room number and rate. Promotes and administers AKA Programs . Ensures guest knows location of room. Provides welcome packet containing room keys, and Wi‑Fi information. Greets customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Uses a positive and clear speaking voice, listens to and understands requests, responds with appropriate action and provide accurate information such outlet hours, special VIP programs, events, etc. Uses guest name in a sincere manner to create personalized service. Receives special requests from guests and responds appropriately or forwards requests to appropriate colleagues for decisions and actions. Promptly answers phones and email inquiries. Fields guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiate results. Performing tasks in PMS system such as, settling folios, balancing the house, reviewing room status Running and printing daily reports Performs any other job‑related function as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications Reliability to complete overnight shifts Minimum of one year of guest service experience. High school degree or equivalent. Demonstrated strong guest service skills. Ability to be flexible with work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Meticulous attention to detail. Demonstrated strong guest service, problem solving and decision‑making skills.
