Physical Therapist AssignmentThis 13-week Physical Therapist assignment is based in Wailuku on the island of Maui, Hawaii, a centrally located town known for its lush valley views, historic charm, and easy access to the island's world-famous beaches and outdoor activities. Wailuku offers a relaxed, welcoming community atmosphere with local shops, cafes, and cultural sites, while still being close to major amenities and the island's key transportation routes. In this role, you will provide comprehensive Physical Therapy services to a diverse patient population, focusing on evaluation, individualized treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and patient education. Caseload typically includes orthopedic, post-surgical, and general musculoskeletal conditions, with potential exposure to neurologic and balance-related cases depending on facility needs. You can expect a full-time schedule of 5 eight-hour shifts per week (40 hours), with no on-call required. The environment supports collaborative practice with other rehabilitation and healthcare professionals, and uses EMR for efficient documentation and communication. Patient volumes and daily caseloads are designed to allow you to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while maintaining professional balance.
