Description Team Fishel, the Best Choice in utility construction since 1936, is looking to hire a Civil Dry Utilities Superintendent at our Phoenix, AZ office. The purpose of this position is to ensure safe, high-quality, and timely completion of projects. Responsibilities Planning and implementation to ensure all materials, equipment, and inspections support the projects Review and understand construction documents Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers and resolve discrepancies Participate in the development and management of a project schedule Manage the utilization of company tools and equipment Coach, supervise, and develop teammates Conduct effective pre-construction planning sessions and project site meetings Supervise project partners, foremen, and crews Manage and track work progress and productivity Provide high-level management of safety, quality, risk, and compliance Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Dry Utilities construction experience, with 2 of those years being in a supervisory role Proven ability to fulfill all responsibilities for multiple, complex projects Demonstrate flexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and timelines Proven time management skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks with tight deadlinesWork both independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environment Display superior written and oral communication skills and effective listening skills Team Fishel offers excellent industry training and a career development path for our teammates.
