Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 10+ years of experience in test automation, software quality engineering, and framework development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD integration, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in Agile environments. Location Location: Georgia Experience Experience: 10+ Years Employment Type Employment Type: Contract Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing. Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Collaborate with developers, QA, and business teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC. Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and report defects. Perform database validation using SQL. Participate in code reviews and promote automation best practices. Support performance and security testing activities as needed. Mentor junior QA/SDET team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills 10+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation. Strong programming experience in Java, C#, or Python. Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium. Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI. Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation. Experience with JUnit, TestNG, NUnit, or PyTest. Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow. Experience in Banking, Healthcare, Retail, or Financial Services domains. Education Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
