Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students throughout the Northwestern Illinois region by utilizing your Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology skills in a supportive educational setting. We are seeking two experienced school-based SLPs (Spanish/English) for a full-time contract assignment, spanning the 2026-2027 academic year, with placements to be determined across several campuses in the Carpentersville, Dundee, Algonquin, and Hampshire areas. As a valued professional in this role, you’ll play a vital part in helping students build communication skills that will empower them throughout their educational journeys.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Illinois PEL with a Speech-Language endorsement
• Active Illinois State License (IDFPR)
• SLP-CCC preferred; newly graduated SLPs (CFs) will be considered
• Strong proficiency in both Spanish and English required
• Experience in school-based settings ideal, but not mandatory
• Will consider SLP-Assistants only if noted

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language and hearing screenings and evaluations
• Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide bilingual speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs
• Consult and communicate effectively with teachers, families, and staff regarding student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Participate in team meetings to support student success
