Pharmacist | Fresno, California

An urgent opportunity is available for a full-time pharmacist to provide essential coverage at a well-established community health center pharmacy. This role requires immediate availability and offers a schedule Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The initial contract is for four weeks with the possibility of extension based on need.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications following safety and compliance protocols
• Verify prescriptions and ensure appropriate medication utilization for patients
• Collaborate closely with experienced pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient pharmacy operations
• Utilize the Rx30 pharmacy system for prescription processing and record maintenance
• Provide excellent patient counseling and support to enhance medication adherence and health outcomes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current pharmacist licensure
• Recent retail or community pharmacy experience required
• Familiarity with pharmacy systems, particularly Rx30, highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume pharmacy workflow
• Effective communication skills for patient and team interactions
