- Develop Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patient needs and create personalized therapy plans that empower them to reach their functional goals.
- Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply proven techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work in partnership with other healthcare professionals-OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses-to ensure comprehensive care.
- Guide Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their families on therapy methods to encourage progress outside of clinical settings.
- Track and Evaluate Progress: Document clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective recovery.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
- Encouragement and support for continuing education or post-graduate certifications.
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential.
- A deep passion for helping others achieve their utmost level of independence.
