Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patient needs and create personalized therapy plans that empower them to reach their functional goals.
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply proven techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work in partnership with other healthcare professionals-OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses-to ensure comprehensive care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their families on therapy methods to encourage progress outside of clinical settings.
• Track and Evaluate Progress: Document clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective recovery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Encouragement and support for continuing education or post-graduate certifications.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential.
