Logistics Coordinator
LHH is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our client. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily transportation and logistics operations to ensure accurate, timely movement of goods. This role coordinates shipments, tracks deliveries, communicates with carriers and customers, and maintains accurate documentation and system records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics or distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries with carriers
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve transportation issues as they arise
- Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation such as bills of lading, labels, and manifests
- Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and delivery schedules
- Update and maintain accurate records in logistics, ERP, or transportation management systems
- Support inventory movement and warehouse operations as needed to meet customer and production demands
- Respond to customer inquiries related to shipping, delivery timelines, and order status
- Assist with freight billing, discrepancy resolution, and documentation audits
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics processes and efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation coordination, shipping, or supply chain support preferred
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP, TMS, or logistics systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework in supply chain or logistics a plus
Pay/Benefits:
- Pay: $23/hr - $27/hr depending on experience
