Head of Business Development for Pharmaceutical Packaging

Job Description

Head of Business Development will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and building long-term customer relationships. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of winning large commercial contracts, navigating complex pharmaceutical supply chains, and creating growth strategies that deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive business development and growth strategies.
Identify and secure new pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, OTC, and healthcare packaging opportunities.
Build relationships with senior executives, procurement teams, and decision-makers within pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare companies.
Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions.
Develop strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, brand owners, and industry stakeholders.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with operations, quality, engineering, and project management teams to ensure successful program implementation.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
Maintain and expand a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Achieve annual revenue and profitability objectives.
