Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Patrol in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or retail employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services when needed. Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Have at least one year of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
