Nurse Practitioner (Sleep Medicine)

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with an interest in sleep medicine to join our growing clinical team in Southaven, MS.

Position Overview

The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with our sleep physicians, technologists, and clinical operations team to evaluate patients, manage sleep-related conditions, and support continuity of care across clinic and sleep lab services.

This role is ideal for an NP who values structured workflows, evidence-based care, and work-life balance while being part of a growing specialty practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits for sleep-related conditions

• Review sleep study results (PSG, HST) and provide patient education

• Manage ongoing treatment plans including CPAP/APAP/BiPAP therapy

• Assess treatment compliance and troubleshoot therapy issues

• Collaborate with supervising physicians on diagnosis and treatment decisions

• Document all encounters accurately in the EHR

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols

• Communicate with referral sources as needed

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license (Family NP or Adult-Gerontology NP preferred)

• 3 years of experience as a practicing NP minimum.

• Clean Provider Record.

• Active state licensure (or ability to obtain) in Mississippi

• DEA license (or ability to obtain)

• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

• Comfort working in a structured, protocol-driven environment

• Prior experience in sleep medicine, pulmonary, cardiology, or internal medicine preferred but not required

• Willingness to learn sleep medicine (training provided)

Schedule & Work Environment

• Primarily weekday clinic hours

• Minimal to no call

• Multi-location coverage may be required (based on geography)

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary based on experience Range $85,000 to $105,000.00
