Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient assessments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either independently or in collaboration with physicians (based on credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and effective management
• Prescribing treatments and medications according to your practice scope

Qualifications and Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Licensure and Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain them within 90 days)
