Position Details

• Job Title: PCU RN / RN PCU-Telemetry
• Location: Akron Campus – 1 Central (1C), Akron, Ohio
• Assignment Duration: 07/19/2026 – 10/17/2026
• Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Unit Information

This is a vascular and cardiac telemetry unit functioning similar to a PCU setting. Candidates should have strong cardiac and vascular experience, including:

• Pre & post cardiac cath care
• Vascular surgery patient care
• Telemetry monitoring

Sheath pulling experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.

• Patient Ratio: 1:4 (can go up to 1:5)
• Travelers must be willing to float.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU RN experience
• Active RN License
• ACLS, BLS & NIH Certification required
• Epic charting experience required
  (Resume must clearly mention Epic experience used in the last 12 months)
• ADN/ASN accepted if accredited through ACEN
• Must have graduated from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
