Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
This Travel Registered Nurse position in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP specialty involves providing specialized nursing care for cardiac catheterization procedures and electrophysiology interventions. The RN will support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within a busy hospital setting, ensuring patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre- and post-procedure patient care, including assessments and monitoring.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, ensuring proper aseptic techniques.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment used in cardiac procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on procedures, recovery, and post-care instructions.
• Document all patient interactions, procedures, and outcomes accurately in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of Florida or appropriate state licensure.
• Possess at least 2 years of RN experience in electrophysiology or cardiac cath labs.
• Demonstrate proficiency with cardiac catheterization and EP procedure protocols.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS required.
