Certified Surgical Scrub Tech

Position: Surgical Scrub Tech Location: Baylor Surgicare at Denton Work Schedule: Weekdays only – no holidays, weekends, nights, or calls. Responsibilities Scrub for surgical procedures and demonstrate competence as a member of the surgical team. Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures. Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment related to the procedures. Support the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Participate in quality improvement activities. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED with completion of a Surgical Technician Program or equivalent education and experience. Certification required by state and/or center. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and surgical patient management. Understanding and implementation of aseptic techniques. Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient condition. Excellent teamwork and strong communication skills; ability to collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians.
