Tax Manager Opportunity

Location: Erie / Northwestern Pennsylvania (hybrid) Compensation: $85,000 - $115,000, depending on experience

A well-established regional CPA and advisory firm in the Erie and Northwestern Pennsylvania area is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead client relationships and grow with its tax practice. You'll own a portfolio of closely held businesses and high-net-worth clients, lead engagement teams, and have a clear path to Senior Manager and beyond.

What You'll Do

Manage a portfolio of business and individual clients from planning through filing
Review complex individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and fiduciary returns
Lead tax planning, projections, and research for owners and their businesses
Represent clients before federal, state, and local taxing authorities
Manage engagement budgets, billing, and workflow
Train, develop, and mentor seniors and staff
Build client relationships and support business development
Collaborate with audit and advisory colleagues to serve clients

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation a plus
6+ years of tax experience in public accounting
Active CPA or EA license (required)
Strong technical knowledge of pass-through, corporate, and individual taxation
Experience reviewing returns and leading teams
Excellent client service and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
An entrepreneurial, growth-minded approach

What's Offered

Base salary of $85,000 - $115,000, depending on experience
