Parish Outreach Coordinator

CCLI is looking for a Parish Outreach Coordinator with a generous heart and a desire to contribute to the well-being of others to carry out our mission on Long Island. Responsibilities: Provide ongoing and specialized consultation services to parishes including assessments of and recommendations for PSM programs, as well as guidance on complex client cases. Convene regular deanery meetings of PSM Coordinators and develop and enable Coordinator leadership within deaneries. Develop and communicate resources and networking in a variety of areas to parishes as needed. Design, initiate and conduct training programs and special events for Coordinators and Volunteers. Encourage and facilitate parish development actions and advocacy for social justice. Review and recommend financial assistance applications submitted by parishes on behalf of clients. Coordinate and respond to Central Information Referral and View email address on us.fitly.work calls and emails. Complete a needs assessment specific to each client's situation and make appropriate and timely referrals, documenting in agency database. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Theology and/or training in a related field preferred. Previous experience as a Parish Social Ministry Coordinator a plus. Ability to identify priorities, multi-task and deliver independent, effective follow up. Effective communication skills especially ability to listen to a broad array of constituencies. Availability to travel to parishes, meetings and events. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Bilingual capability in Spanish/English a plus. Valid NYS Driver's license. Schedule: full time - 35 hours per week Rate of Pay: $60K annual This position is solidly grant funded. This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
