About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience required. Experience with a patient ratio of 1:6 required. Experience with EPIC charting system required. License: Valid RN license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required, not expiring within 30 days of start. De-escalation certification preferred. Must-Have: Open book EKG test required at orientation. Must be agreeable to floating to a sister facility, which is 25 minutes away. Weekly coverage every other weekend required. Description: This position is for a Med-Surg/Telemetry Float RN. The unit cares for patients with infectious diseases, oncology, cardiac acute and medical care, post-surgical care, bariatric, urological, neurological, and orthopedic conditions. Candidates must have experience managing patients with the listed diagnoses. AvaSure tele-sitting cameras are utilized for remote monitoring. Staffing includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. All candidates must have a 3-4 rating in all required skills. Candidates must be willing to float between facilities as needed. Blocked scheduling is not accommodated. Candidates with work history at previous locations will require rehire status approval.
