Senior Quality Assurance PM, Mechanical - Data Center Construction

Senior Quality Assurance PM, Mechanical – Data Center Construction Turner & Townsend are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance PM, Mechanical to join our Data Center Construction team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting large-scale construction projects. Responsibilities Effectively manage and collaborate with project stakeholders. Communicate effectively across the internal team to ensure efficiency and consistent delivery to the client. Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip. Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized. Ensure application of best practice on all projects. Produce formal project status reports and other reports as required. Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure approved design standards are applied correctly. Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews. Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications. Forecast and update key project milestones. Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria. Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders. Provide rapid response to RFIs from the field. Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance as required. Independently review status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers. Assist in managing clients to develop excellent working relationships and maximize new opportunities. Offer strategic thinking advice to project teams on approaches that achieve client and business objectives. Capture knowledge and learnings from each project. Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes. Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or an applicable bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience. Minimum 5-7 years of relevant project management experience, specifically working with mechanical systems in the built environment. Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team. Background in design or construction with mechanical or BMS controls experience. Background in a vendor equipment factory supporting quality control processes of mechanical equipment. Background in commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment in mission‑critical data centers. Proficiency managing construction documents including BODs, specifications, contract drawings, C/D/E’s, equipment submittals and RFIs. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, Project, Smartsheets, and other construction project management tools. On‑site presence requirements may change depending on client needs.
