CICS Systems Programmer

Salary: $150,000 - 190,000 per year Requirements:

• We require seven years of experience in one or more of the following areas: system administration on Windows, Unix, or another distributed platform; systems programming on a mainframe platform; storage management in a large SAN environment; software development; internal audit; or information security.
• A bachelors degree plus five years of experience in one or more of the same areas may be accepted in place of the seven-year requirement.
• We need strong logical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• We require experience working with team members, team leads, end users, business partners, and management in both daily operations and project work.

• We require experience documenting initial system setup, change management, audit, disaster recovery, and business continuity information, while keeping system records current.

• We monitor usage, performance, and resources for assigned systems, hardware, storage, and application software.
• We troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues across assigned systems and platforms.
• We develop, configure, tailor, document, and adjust system settings and configurations.
• We support patching and version maintenance activities.
• We schedule testing and maintain documentation tied to audit requirements and disaster recovery planning.
• We maintain technical documentation for assigned software, hardware management tools, and appliances.
• We participate in audit and disaster recovery exercises and related activities.
• We contribute to root-cause analysis across technology and business areas as needed.
• We perform capacity planning and performance tuning for assigned areas of responsibility.
• We help develop entry-level team members through mentoring, technical training, and related support.
