Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Therapist in Ann Arbor, MI

Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide part-time therapy services in a school setting located in Ann Arbor, MI. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through 12th grade, delivering essential speech and language support to help them achieve their academic and communication goals.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of 48 students, covering a wide range of communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Utilize AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices to support students with complex communication challenges.
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
• Deliver services in person and via teletherapy when appropriate, ensuring continuity of care.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as school policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Michigan SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 students.
• Proficiency with AAC devices and integration into therapy sessions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a moderate caseload effectively.
• Comfortable providing teletherapy services as needed.

Work Schedule and Location:

• Part-time contract position based in Ann Arbor, MI.
• Work hours: 7:40 AM to 3:00 PM.
