HI - RN Flex Pool - Days (10/12)

Travel Nurse RN - Med-Surg - $2,200 Per Week

Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity.

General job duties include floating between various medical and surgical units. Types of procedures required include the use of Meditech EMR, pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes.

Shift or schedule requirements include 12-hour shifts - days (0645 to 1915) - scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

Required skills and minimum years of experience include 2-10 years' experience.

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required include BLS, ACLS (preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC).

Floating to other units/departments includes the Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions).

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept include Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15.

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit includes Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights; Laulima 1:6; Cardiovascular 1:4. Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves.

Dress code includes professional nursing attire - clean scrubs.
