Senior Tax Accountant (Palm Beach Gardens)

Brescia McCluskey, LLC is hiring a Senior Tax Accountant to prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns for our clients. You'll handle tax research, client communication, bookkeeping and payroll tax support, and financial statement prep, with real client exposure from day one.

What You'll Do

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary (trust) tax returns

• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns accurately and timely

• Review client tax documents and supporting records for completeness and accuracy

• Perform tax research and apply findings to client situations

• Communicate with clients regarding tax matters and information requests

• Assist with tax planning and compliance projects

• Prepare payroll tax returns and related filings

• Perform bookkeeping and accounting functions as needed

• Prepare financial statements and supporting workpapers

• Maintain organized client files and engagement documentation

• Assist partners and managers with special tax and accounting projects

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of public accounting or tax preparation experience preferred

• Experience preparing individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns

• Experience with bookkeeping, payroll tax filings, and financial statement preparation

• Experience with UltraTax CS, Workpapers CS, and QuickBooks preferred

• Strong tax research and analytical skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
