This contract position runs from October to December and focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services to a caseload of 36 students, making a meaningful impact on their academic journey.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current state licensure or ability to obtain licensure as an SLP or SLPA
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
• Ability to plan and implement targeted therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
• Experience managing a diverse caseload
• Organizational skills and adaptability for dynamic school environments
• Commitment to student empowerment and inclusive practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students on the assigned caseload
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Conduct assessments, maintain detailed documentation, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate regularly with educators and parents to ensure student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support team decisions
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district policies related to special education
