Back Accounting Specialist Accounting Orlando , FL Direct Hire Aug 14, 2026 Job Type: Direct Hire Location: Orlando, FL 32817 Work Schedule: Monday- Friday- 100% on-site Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Compensation: $23-$25/hr Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k, PTO,5 paid Holidays Sanford Rose- JFSPartners is searching for an entry-level Accounting Specialist in theOrlando area to join a growing construction organization. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational accounting or clerical experience who is eager to learn, develop their skills, and grow within a hands-on accounting environment. Responsibilities Enter and process approximately 100 invoices per week with accuracy and attention to detail Perform invoice data entry and ensure information is entered correctly into the accounting system Assist with accounts payable processing and maintaining accurate vendor records Support accounts receivable activities, including contacting customers regarding outstanding invoices and obtaining payment status updates Follow up with clients regarding expected payment dates and document updates appropriately Research and resolve basic invoice or payment discrepancies Assist with organizing and maintaining accounting records and documentation Navigate internal systems to locate, enter, and update financial information Provide general clerical and administrative support to the accounting team as needed Assist with other accounting functions as assigned Qualifications 1+ year of clerical, administrative, accounting, AP/AR, or related experience preferred Foundational understanding of accounting concepts Strong data entry and organizational skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working with numbers and financial information Ability to learn new software, systems, and processes quickly Strong follow-through and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks Professional communication skills, particularly when communicating with customers regarding payments Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Construction or site development industry experience is a plus, but not required.
