Product Owner

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong FinTech and Payments expertise to drive the vision, roadmap, and execution of payment products and platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of payment ecosystems, digital transactions, banking integrations, and regulatory compliance. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to deliver innovative, scalable, and secure payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product roadmap for payments products and services.
• Gather, define, and prioritize business requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and external payment partners.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of payment solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Manage product backlogs, sprint planning, and release prioritization.
• Define product vision aligned with organizational goals and payment strategy.
• Monitor payment transaction performance, customer adoption, and operational metrics.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, and security teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience, payment success rates, and operational efficiency.
• Support UAT, production releases, and post-implementation reviews.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with payment platforms such as Stripe, Adyen, PayPal, Fiserv, FIS, First Data, Worldpay, TSYS, or similar.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or FinTech organizations.
• Familiarity with ISO 8583, ISO 20022, SWIFT, and Open Banking standards.
• Prior experience leading payment modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
• Professional certifications such as CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or equivalent.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA or relevant FinTech/Product certifications preferred.
