Assistant General Manager

Role Description The Assistant General Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Las Vegas, NV. This role supports the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage (if applicable), and guest services. The Assistant General Manager helps ensure consistent service standards, manages staff scheduling, assists with training and performance feedback, and responds to guest inquiries and concerns. The role includes monitoring property appearance, safety, and cleanliness, supporting revenue and occupancy goals, and helping manage budgets, reporting, and basic financial controls. This position also collaborates with the leadership team to implement policies, improve processes, and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Qualifications Experience in hotel or hospitality operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house support. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and support diverse teams. Solid customer service and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on delivering excellent guest experiences. Basic financial and administrative skills, including familiarity with budgeting, reporting, and operational metrics. Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments. Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with common office software and hotel management systems or property management systems (PMS). Prior supervisory or assistant management experience in hospitality is preferred. Ability to work on-site in Las Vegas, NV, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
