Restaurant Manager – Fast-Casual Dining
Bayside, NY
A high-volume fast-casual restaurant in Yonkers is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead team performance, and ensure an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
This role is responsible for managing both front-of-house operations and supporting back-of-house coordination to ensure smooth service, operational efficiency, and consistent quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong people management skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to drive results in a high-volume setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service across all shifts
- Lead, coach, and develop FOH and support staff to maintain strong performance standards
- Manage labor, scheduling, and operational efficiency to meet business targets
- Ensure excellent guest experience through service recovery and proactive engagement
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost controls in coordination with kitchen leadership
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Drive sales performance through service execution, speed, and guest satisfaction
- Act as the primary point of contact for operational issues during assigned shifts
Qualifications:
- 2–5+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Solid understanding of labor control, service standards, and restaurant operations
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-first environment
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
