OVERVIEW: OVERVIEW: DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Business Partner to support our Conklin, NYThis is a highly visible, full-time, onsite role (Monday-Friday) partnering directly with Distribution Center leadership to drive people strategies, enhance teammate experience, and influence business outcomes. This role partners directly with Distribution Center leadership to manage teammate relations, support leader effectiveness, and execute people strategies in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Drive Teammate Experience & Culture
- Serve as a primary HR partner for Distribution Center leadership, supporting leaders in building strong, values-based teams
- Lead complex teammate relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Partner with leaders to proactively identify risks and implement solutions that strengthen engagement and retention
- Make informed and timely decisions on disciplinary matters, including those related to safety
- Influence and support leaders in executing key organizational initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent development
- Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams (Benefits, Payroll, LOA) to drive consistent and effective processes
- Support broader Supply Chain HR initiatives
- Lead training and support on critical HR topics including teammate relations, policy, safety, and performance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies, including wage and hour requirements
- Direct partnership with senior Distribution Center leadership - strong influence on site culture and performance
- Opportunity to lead and shape HR practices in a high-volume, operational environment
- Exposure to broader Supply Chain network and enterprise HR initiatives
- Ability to make real-time decisions that directly impact teammate experience and business outcomes
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field
- 3-5 years of experience in employee relations; Human Resources Generalist work
- Ability to conduct thorough investigations and maintain documentation in an organized manner.
- Strong coaching, communication and influence skills.
- Ability to make sound business decisions.
- Ability to provide critical feedback to assist with the growth and development of associates and supervisors.
- Ability to prioritize challenging demands and manage time effectively.
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
- Strong sense of urgency to resolve associate issues.
- Experience in handling Legal/Government charges as a company representative.
- Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews.

This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
